Voting Instructions

It's time to vote YES to certify our union!

Key Dates:

  • Monday, January 13, 2025: Mail ballots sent to eligible CT workers
  • Monday, February 3, 2025: Ballots must be received by NLRB Regional Office - votes to be counted at 3 PM

If you did not receive a ballot, please notify the NLRB Regional Office (410-962-2822) as soon as possible.

STEP 1

For Professional Employees (Unit A):

  • Mark your ballot in secret by placing an X in the YES boxes for both questions on the ballot. 
  • Any markings outside of the squares you mark will disqualify your ballot.

For Nonprofessional Employees (Unit B):

  • Mark your ballot in secret by placing an X in the YES box. (There is only one question on the ballot for nonprofessional employees.)
  • Any markings outside of the square you mark will disqualify your ballot.

STEP 2

  • Place your ballot in the BLUE envelope & seal that envelope.

  • Put the BLUE envelope into the YELLOW addressed return envelope.

  • Sign the back of the yellow envelope in the space provided.

  • Mail your ballot - no postage needed!

Did you . . .

  • Mark YES for the question(s) on your ballot?
  • Place your ballot in the secret, blue envelope and seal it?
  • Place your sealed, blue envelope into the yellow return envelope?
  • Sign your name on the back of the sealed return envelope?
  • Mail your ballot before Monday, February 3?
  • If you did all of the above, congratulations - you just voted YES to certify Child Trends Workers United!
